Today another spammer was caught by the police and sentenced to 2 and a half years in prison for spamming over 1.2 million people registered on AOL in 2005. Adam Vital (27 y.o) admitted that he broke the anti-spam rule's, and besides the jail sentence he has to pay AOL 180000 $. To send all the spam messages and to shut down the spam and junk filters on AOL he used several PC's. In the spamming process he was helped by Tod Moler, who also received a sentence (for 27 mounts), but last year. Does spamming pays off?
