ROKR E8

This time I'm going to move a bit from the PCs and write about the new ROKR E8 from Motorola. After an almost ending carrier, Motorola is up n'trying to get back on the market with the new ROKR E8 which is supposed to reach the same fame and glory as the RAZR, well that's at least what the team from Motorola is saying :) The new phone is using the MakeShift technology, which allows you see only the needed key on the keyboard, let say if you're listening to music you're only going to see the keys like play, pause, fast forward, rewind and nothing more then the necessary. When the phone is not active or is shut down, you don't see any keys, because the keyboard is virtual so the surface where the key board is supposed to be becomes smooth, but when you activate the phone the keys are visible again, and by hitting the music button you only see the keys that I mentioned before. While we're going trough the keys, Id like to mention that there is one fastscroll key, which allows you, ass the name says, scroll fast trough the files that you have one the phone. The screen isn't that big, but still its satisfying (TFT 320 x 240 pixels, 2.0 inches, 256K colors). It has 2 GB internal user memory, which can be powered up by a MicroSD memory card, holding up to 2 GB i think. It looks like a nice phone, but we'll have to wait and see, at least I :) Oh I forgot to write something about the keyboard, as you all ready figured it out the most important part of the phone :), its not like the standard touch keypads, its sensitive to vibrations and motions so its like pressing a real keyboard. That's it for this phone, now we just gotta sit back and wait to see if Motorola made the wright move with this phone.
